RE: Merging traffic

If I can not move to another lane, I hold my speed and let the merger adjust, I just make sure I'm running at posted speed. Slowing down or speeding up will just mess up the merging traffic as well as traffic around you!!! I do flash my lights(:E) if they can merge ahead of me, 9 out of 10 times, they tend to speed up as a "thank you' gesture for letting them in:):)

RE: RVQ grill and side of trailer getting hot

I don't have the grill you have, but have a Broil King Porta-Chef 40 Grill 20000 BTU's with the RVQ fitting and 8' fuel line. Much more flexible for seating arrangements around the rig.

RE: towing / wrecker services

We have CAA Plus RV (Canadian version of AAA), and had good experience with them, while travelling with our friends last summer,(us towing our trailer and them towing theres) they had engine trouble pulling the trailer. They were not members of an auto club, so I called my CAA RV and explained the situation. They said as long as I was there holding my membership card they would come, and they did with 2 tow trucks. They towed the pickup to the nearest Chrysler dealer and towed the trailer to our destination 40min. away. Cant' complain about CAA/AAA.

RE: Bike Roof Rack

Any advantage of a fork mount rack over one where the front bicycle tire isn't removed? Thanks, My opinion is the fork mounts are more rigid, less bike movement for off-roading. I have no experience with the others, but they probably are just as fine.

RE: Anyone slowing down to save on gas?

I drive posted speed, and keep my distance from the vehicle ahead, easier to make panic stops.
